College Preparation: Where do you begin your journey as you enter into your final (12th grade) year of high school.

As you embark on your senior year of high school, it's an exciting time filled with possibilities and choices. Among the most significant decisions you'll make is where to continue your education after graduation. College applications can seem overwhelming, but fear not – we've put together a tentative timeline to help you navigate this crucial journey with confidence.

Early Fall (September - October)
Finalize Your College List: Review your college options and ensure your list aligns with your academic and personal goals.
Request Letters of Recommendation: Approach teachers, counselors, or mentors for letters of recommendation. Provide them with information about your college choices and deadlines.
Late Fall (November - December)
Gather Application Materials: Collect all necessary documents, including transcripts, standardized test scores, and application fees or fee waivers.
Start Your Applications: Begin working on your college applications, paying close attention to deadlines.
Winter (January - February)
Complete the FAFSA: If you're seeking financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1st.
Submit Your Applications: Aim to submit your applications by mid to late January to meet regular decision deadlines.
Early Spring (March - April)
Consider Financial Aid Offers: Review and compare financial aid packages from colleges. Contact financial aid offices with any questions.
Late Spring (May - June)
Acceptance and Decision: Decide on the college you'll attend and send your acceptance. Notify the other schools you applied to of your decision.
